Just a quick note to let you know the 2014 7th edition of the Jeanne d'Arc Living magazine is now available. If you have never seen this magazine, treat yourself to a copy. This is one of the most gorgeous magazines on the market! It is printed on high quality paper and has the most beautiful and inspiring photos, wonderful articles and yummy recipes. You will look through it again and again. We are honored to be able to bring it to our customers.

Country Living Fair Rhinebeck, NY

We are just back from participating in the Rhinebeck New York Country Living Fair. The show was amazing and we met so many great people. These two photos were taken at the shop as we were packing up the Uhaul van.

We were fortunate to have an end booth so we were able to set up outside as well as inside. I brought a duplicate of our signature pink bike that sits in front of the shop. It was one of the first things to sell!! If you live in the area and did not go to the show it's a must for next year!!

I hope everyone is enjoying these first few days of Spring. Here in Connecticut it still feels like Winter (a few flakes were flying around today and it's still chilly) but I have faith that warm weather is right around the corner. 

Just a quick note to let everyone know we have lots & lots of new merchandise arriving daily at our shop: The Nosey Goose, in Madison, CT. I have also been listing some of the new goodies on my site. Jeanne d'Arc Living

It's been a month and I'm back again. Life has been busy with both family and work. My mother (and business partner) and I attended both the Atlanta Gift mart and the New York gift show searching for great new products to add to our shop. We had a ton of success and it's been fun as the new merchandise slowly arrives. We are in Connecticut and we got buried in snow last weekend ... 34 inches ... which is more than this area is equipped to handle. Our shop in town has been closed for a few days but hopefully soon things will be back to normal and back to work. I've added a few new things to our website along with the February issue of Jeanne d' Arc Living magazine. Stop by if you have a minute. Thanks for visiting ... 

Every year my New Year's resolution (or one of them) is to be much better about keeping up with my blog and each year I let it slide. So here we go again ... let's see if this year will be different!

Finally Back

 I don't know about you but I want to know ... Where did the Summer go??!! As each year passes I feel like time goes by that much faster. Maybe because my kids are bigger and busier? Who knows. Anyway ... I'm finally back to work and back to my blog. I have been busy creating new pillows and listing new items both new and vintage repurposed. My mother and I shopped a few trade shows and things are starting to arrive. We are also thrilled to be carrying the Jeanne d'Arc Living magazine. Each issue is more beautiful than the next! September just arrived and it is gorgeous!!

We hosted our annual Home & Garden sale at our shop in Madison, CT this weekend. It is always a fun event ... we decorate the lawn and porch of the shop with vintage and antique items, geraniums, herbs, etc. We had a gorgeous day on Friday, Saturday was a volatile weather day, Sunday was lovely and the whole event was a success. I thought I'd share a few photos ...

We are SO excited to have been selected to carry Jeanne d'Arc Living magazine. It is one of the most beautiful magazines available with gorgeous photos, great articles and recipes and NO advertisements. It is one of those magazines that you will look at again and again!

Despite the not so great weather last week we were able to spend a day at Brimfield. For anyone who is not familiar with Brimfield, it is one of the biggest antique shows around. It is so much fun to shop and we came home with a nice mix of goodies along with repurposing some of our finds.

Atlanta Gift Mart

As we do every January and July, my mother and I spent four days shopping the Atlanta Gift Mart in search of fabulous new products to add to our shop and website. We had a very successful trip. I can't wait for every thing to start arriving!! I don't normally take pictures but this time I snapped a few in some of my favorite booths and showrooms. Enjoy!!

There is so much to see that it's impossible to do it all. But we walked and shopped for basically three days ( two half days and two full days) and did as much as we could. And like I said, we really found some great new merchandise.

These white distressed wire birdcages should be arriving soon ... they are great to fill with goodies every season!

These two pictures are a glimpse into the Bella Notte showroom. They have the most gorgeous bedding!!

LOVE HER!!!! And really wanted her but she was just for display.

Thought this was a great display with the vintage lampshade frames. I actually have a few of my own that I embellished and made lights out of. They are headed to the shop soon.

I wish I had taken a few more pictures ... oh well, next time.
