Here we go again ...
We woke up to 9+ inches of snow and another day off of school for the kids. It has been a banner year for snow this year. Living in New England sure brings it's surprises and challenges but I really do love it. As of right now, CT ( where we are) got more snow than VT. We're hoping the day brings more snow for them so the skiing will be amazing this weekend. Here are a few pics of the beautiful snow and what my older son enjoys doing. I love the fresh snow on the ground before it gets all trampled and sledded on and the trees look so beautiful all dressed in white.

I did manage to get a few furniture pieces completed over the past week.

Here is a sneak peek at a few fun things that came in that I have to list on my site this week. Aren't these chicks so cute?
I love this ... It's four separate cardboard letters emellished in gorgeous papers. It looks great on the shop mantel but can go anywhere.
I redid the one of the rooms at the shop ... our challenge is working with the raw wood walls and trying to look shabby chic.

Thanks for visiting ...

I think putting the shabby cottage against plain wood looks good. Shows how versatile the style is, work with what you have and make it your haven.

Jennifer, One day I will get to CT and the problem will be... how will I get all of my big purchases back home to Raleigh?!? I'm with you - I just love the fresh snow. We had thunder snow this time. How cool is that? Pink Hugs, Tedi

Well,NJ shares your snow today...it is that heavy southern snow too!!! Love the pics...by the way, you can hang shears or lace curtains off rods to change the wall! I have done that when I wanted to change a look and did not want to paint!

I love those little eggs Jennifer. Happy birthday to your son too!

Just keep adding items and you will tone down that wood wall. I happen to think they can cohabitate quite peacefully with one another. Love the quilt! Love your projects as well. Nice job.

Jennifer, I so wish for snow!! I know, we're nearing Spring..lol! But dangit! West Virginia doesn't get much snow, and I need a white fix! Heck, I'm in my studio most of the time anyway, but it would warm my heart to see a Winter Wonderland at least once this year! Oh well, I'll just enjoy the view from your window I guess!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog and leaving such a sweet comment!! I love your newly painted furniture, doesn't it always looks sweeter with a coat of white paint!

Big hugs~
xoxo
