I'm sure many of you know that here in the Northeast it has been raining almost nonstop for weeks. I have never seen so much rain in my life!! Yesterday after a severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings, about 6:00 the sun came out and there was a beautiful rainbow. It actually got brighter as we watched and then a second one appeared. It was hard to photo the second one but if you look closely, it's there. It was honestly the most gorgeous rainbow I have ever seen! And of course, the pictures don't do it justice. At least there is a bit of beauty in this horrible weather! Now today was a gorgeous day until about 5:30 when out of the blue, the sky opened up and poured inches of rain like I have never seen before. What is going on?!

The double rainbow is gorgeous, you took a great picture. We had a very wet Spring too. It's been many years since I have seen this much rain here in Southern Maryland.

That is beyond gorgeous. I can see the second rainbow as well. Wish we up had had one, it would have made all the rain worthwhile!
Thanks for sharing that!

I love double rainbows. In WA ST we used to get them all the time ... I am from upper MD & this April/May/first half of June were the wettest in decades they say. Poor plants don't know what to do with so much water ... TTFN ~Marydon

Hi Jennifer,

Love the rainbows. I have seen a few here in Palm Beach recently too. It's so beautiful to see all the colors especially after alot of rain. We have had alot of rain as well. So glad you took pictures. I should do that too.
Thanks for sharing,

Jen,
Thanks for the rainbow! All we got was a bear family visiting in between storms! :)
Have a tea-rific day!

Jennifer, what beautiful pictures and inspiring too. Isn't it interesting what beauty comes out of all that rain and storms.

Here in NE Pa. we did have a tornado about 20 miles from here. Did damage to some houses & trees & several thousand were without power for a couple of days.
Today is nice but rain is predicted everyday in the afternoon for the next week!
I am rain weary!!
Hugs,
Marilyn
