Inspired by The Inspired Room blog, I wanted to share a photo of how I have used vintage chippy paint shutters in my home. I hung two shutters on either side of a very unattractive thermostat to help draw attention away from it. I then hung two fun pieces in the center of them ... a rhinestone ornament and a fabric heart. The table in the center helps balance the pieces and again, make the thermostat less obvious.
